My love for the style and clothing of the 50's comes from watching old movies and original photos of my mother who loves clothes. She kept her 50's dresses in her wardrobe which I used to dress up in as a child and then wore as a teenager when I got into Rockabilly in the early 80's. I've always loved music and dancing, so in my spare time I try to get out and do this and catch up with friends. Ollie Vee's is a song I've always loved and is sung by Buddy Holly. If you listen to the words its about going out and having a good time which I like to do.

The shop is now in its 4th year and recently moved on to the High street taking our regular customers with us and adding new ones to the list. It is an eclectic emporium of all that is vintage going back from the 70's to the 30's, but it's the 40's and 50's that we love the most. We've a vast collection of original vintage fabric, buttons and other haberdashery items. We also sell retro inspired clothing. We do men's and women's and get Teddy boys, Rockabilly's, Skinheads, Mods and vintage collectors in the shop. Pin-up underwear is also something we love to sell and have a variety of customers. Sometimes you will see an Ollie Vee's stall at the Hot Rod shows where I love catching up with the people that visit every year. The juke box is often playing and if you like music pop down as we also sell original vinyl.
